What is the Nantucket HomeZone?

We are now able to reach most parts of the Island with a WiBlast Broadband direct link connecting you to the Nantucket HomeZone. Broadband service where you once only had dial up is now at your disposal. The same low monthly pricing applies whether you are in the Nantucket HotZone or the HomeZone and once you are a subscriber to the Nantucket HomeZone you can also use your notebook computer while in our HotZone coverage areas at no additional cost, just another one of the benefits entitled to you with our service.

What do I need to connect to the HomeZone?

For our broadband service to reach your home the purchase of one of our Subscriber Modules (rooftop antenna) is required at a cost of $339 ($299 after the $40 rebate).

WiBlast will come out and do the basic installation for a one time fee of only $119, some homes may require additional installation costs, but our installers will let you know what those costs may be before beginning any work. We will run a cable from the antenna into the room of your choice where it connects directly to your computer or a wireless router if you so choose.

How much is the HomeZone service?

We offer a variety of pricing plans: Daily $9.99, Weekly $29.99, Monthly $49.99 and Monthly with a 12 month commitment for $39.99 per month.

Which plan is best for me?

Now here is the best part. You can select the plan you want with a simple credit card purchase whether it is for a day, a week, a month or a year, you can choose the length of service that meets your requirements. We offer a Flex Provisioning Plan for those of you that are only here for a short time or come and go throughout the year and don’t have the need for a year round subscription. Our Flex Provisioning Plan is a one time fee of $199 and it will allow you to select the service plan of your choice from day one and each day, week or month after. We all have our different lifestyles and WiBlast Broadband allows you to choose the plan that fits your lifestyle. If you select the 12 month subscription plan your first year, we will waive the Flex Provisioning fee and after the first year of service you can select the plan that best suits your needs while you are at home on Nantucket.

Does WiBlast provide me with a free email account?

Yes. When you sign up for an annual subscription we will give you one free email account.

How fast is it?

When we say Broadband, we mean Broadband. You can be assured of speeds of up to 2 Mbps down and 768 Kbps up. We also can supply you with T1 compatible links to fit your business needs.

We are pleased to announce that the Nantucket HomeZone will be able to service almost the entire Island of Nantucket.

Today we service Downtown, Center Island, Surfside, Miacomet, Cisco, Madaket, Tuckernuck, Eel Point, Brant Point, Monomoy and Surfside.

We are currently deploying service that will cover the remainder of the Island this fall which includes Tom Nevers, Siasconset, Wauwinet and all other locations on the Island.
